There are several teams fighting for the title and even a place in the national team, but for most others, getting to the Miramar beach itself is a huge victory.
Take Kashmir for example. The team from India’s newest union territory travelled for five days by train before they set foot on the Miramar beach. It was quite an ordeal, but nothing like last year when they travelled by foot - because of roadblocks at home - for almost a day, before they could reach Mumbai where the National Inclusion Cup was played.
